file synchronization

I currently use the core ftp lite version and I am interested possibly in buying the pro version, but I have a question about it first.

Does the pro version automatically delete files and folders, including subfolders, that exist in the remote directory but not in the local directory? Does the program do it for you automatically or do you have to delete files and folders yourself by hand? Does it automatically include subfolders as well?

And if it does it automatically for the whole site including subfolders does it do it within a minute or two? I have a very large site and I don't want to always have to wait for an hour or more while the program goes through all the files on the entire site.

I know there is something in the program called "file synchronization" or a "mirror" option, but I don't know exactly what it means.

Anyone who can answer this, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks! Found that out! I took a gamble and bought the program anyway and was very pleasantly surprised to find out that this program actually does, and does well, what the others claim to do but don't. It's so nice when something goes right in life, isn't it? I was expecting to be disappointed, but it syncs the directories, including subdirectories, quickly. No more hand deleting!

This is a GREAT program.
