Downloaded CORE FTP 1.3c Build 1447, and though I haven't set up the Host/password/Username items yet, every time I turn the computer on, it says the files are being updated, then these 3 items come onscreen:
A Help File Directory; The Program's screen, AND a screen box wanting to know if I want to UNinstall the program!
I clicked NO when it asked if I wanted to make the program my Default FTP client.
Any ideas on what's going on & how I can correct it?

Also -- in the "Site name" box, do I put in the name of my website or what do I do here?

Thanks for the help -- I ran msconfig, and found 2 boxes checken in the Startup section, unchecked them, restarted comp. and problem has vaniished.
Will take look at the site you posted. May have a couple questions later regarding folders -- which, since its a different topic, maybe I should post them in another forum??
