If I attempt to adjust the send / receive window size [increase send buffer from default of 512 to 409] on the connection options, while the transfer speeds up incredibly...many times the transfer fails attempts..has to retransmit and / or doesn't send all the data and the files are basically corrupted. Any thoughts on this issue? It's not a networking issue, although perhaps there's something on the vsftp server side, but I sort of doubt that as well.
Latest CoreFTP LE Lite client on Windows --> server is RHEL 5 with VSFTP Server.
send / receive windows size issue FTPS CoreFTP LE Client
Seems to work okay if the send / receive buffer size is only set to 2k / 2048 bytes...but if raised to 4096 or higher...boom! Setting the buffer size to 2048 allows for about 10MB/sec upload rate, but if I could get 4096 to 8192 to work reliably...I could see 30+MB/sec upload rates and I would be very, very happy...
