I am trying to log in server with a certificate and I am having problems. From Site Manager, i click advanced which takes me to the advanced site settings page. I click on ssh and put the path to the private / public key. I also enter the password that I encrypted the private with (I generated the public / private key with puttygen ). the use Putty compatible SFTP is checked and then click ok. When I click on the connect button on the site manager page, it asks me for my userid and password for the site that I am logging into...I thought with a certificate, I would be able to get logged in automatically.
The server people say that the certificate is loaded into the server.
Where can I read about this or any input would be appriciated.
