I got an SSL Certificate installed on the server hosting my website.
I have set up an FTP account, and if I don't use SSL, everything works fine.
Once I try to use SSL, I get the following:
Resolving www.lsrotranscription.com...
And it just kind of stays there. When I try to reconnect, I see the following:
SL/TLS error - 0, SSL error - 1
SSL Connection not established
My question is - how do I set up Core FTP to use SSL? I have played around with the SSL settings, but there are different options - Auth SSL, Auth TLS, SSL Direct etc. How do I know what options to use?
Thanks,
Rob

Hello all,
I have a Similar problem. After configuring the server for ssl Implicit on the standard port i wanted to give it a try. To bad.
I got this msg. ---> SSL/TLS error - 0, SSL error - 1
After searching this forum and a lot of googleling i tried an other ftp client.
When i configure this and try to connect it works.... I don't know what the problem could be but i prefer using Coreftp then the other clients...
The situation is as followed. I have a Titan ftp server set for Ftps and SSL.
Ssl is implicit and on poort 990. We have a public certificate ( *.pem ) with a password protection on it. The normal Ftp on poort 21 is disabled and SSH/SFTP on poort 22 is also disabled... The protocol version is TLS v.1 ( SSL V.3.1 ). FXP is enabled and so is Pasv mode.... don;t need both but just to be sure...
When i turn on the normal ftp with poort 21 it works fine...But on the other ftp client Ftps on poort 990 works fine....
Checked the firewall and poort 990 is ok... I also used multiple versions of CoreFtp just to be sure........
I am really out of options here.... can anybody help me...
can someone help me with this problem....
