It's not my own problem, but a girl who I've given some space on my website is having difficulty uploading files. She can connect to the server but when she uploads the files the Size turns out to be a "0" and neither her or I can figure out why. She has used SmartFtp and Core FTP and it's the same thing with both of them.
She has also closed her virus protection during this, so I don't think that is a problem.
So what else can it be?
I know it is not my server because it works fine for me, and my other hostees.
Can someone please shed some light on this issue?
Not uploading properly

My server does allow SSH. In the user admin I allowed her FTP, CGI and then there was the SSH option and I clicked that too. I am confused as to why this is happening to her.CP wrote:It's most likely a firewall / anti-virus issue. While I haven't actually seen this exact situation before, it looks like the transfer is being blocked (on the data channel) and is not being transferred. If you allow SSH/SFTP on your server, that might work for her since there is no data channel (extra connection for the transfer on ports outside of 22)
Her virus protection has been turned off and it still will not work. If she is behind a firewall, how can she figure out what it is and were to get rid of it?
I really just want to find a solution fast.
