Help - 530 error message

530-Failed to obtain a new session.
530-Maximum number of simultaneous sessions already active.
530

I need to be on FTP to get and upload work...I have no idea what this error message means. I have gotten it every time I logged into FTP starting yesterday morning. There are only a few other people I work with who use this server and they are definitely not on when I am on.
I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me please!

never mind - not sure why it's working now and not all day yesterday or this morning, but i was just able to log on.
