Screen redraw not working at bottom pane of main window

When I have my client open, the bottom status bar of the app is completely cut off when it is maximized. As I shrink the window, the status bar at the bottom become more and more visible until I have both local and remote windows blanked out and that is when the status bar is fully visible. What is going on?

Thank you, that worked. I am not sure why that happened.
