Scheduled Transfer won't start on XP

Post by allawrence »

Have a task scheduled to run and it will not run...

File is defined correctly, time is fine, frequency is ONCE..

Not sure what other info you would need...

Tried that and it did NOT create a log ...

Went to the CP | Scheduled Tasks and it shows the CoreFTP scheduled task and the stays says ".... no user account password entered"

I do not require a password for the account I am using... the only account created...

Any ideas?

Running XPpro SP1

It should have already been in there at this point...
What would happen if, as I am about to do, another account is created to handle the scheduled tasks and will only be used to run the tasks. Would you also have to ask for the username as well since you could not assume that the current username will be used?

Having never had to run a scheduled task using the XP scheduler (I use a freeware program for all my scheduled tasks) I find Microsofts requirement for a password to be a RPTIA...
