Hi all...I have an IBM z/OS (MVS) mainframe FTP server in my private intranet that runs TLS as the security mechanism. Our agency has its own CA and they have generated a public key that is supposed to be installed in the client software (CoreFTP in Windows XP). This public key, and the private key, are installed in RACF.
However this public key is distributed in a "text" format and filetype is .cert. CoreFTP doesn't have a .cert option in the "SSL/TLS" open for the Public Key. I'm totally lost as to how to get this to work. I've tried to convert the certificate to .pem or .crt but the mainframe still won't handshake with the client.
