Cannot run coreftp via DTS package in a SQL Scheduled Task

I saw another post about this same issue but no solution on that one yet. It was a year or two old, so I'm hoping someone has a fix now :)

The DTS package itself runs fine. As soon as its run as a scheduled task in SQL, it just sits there 'executing' forever. If I put a timeout in the DTS package, then it will fail and timeout.

Has anyone managed to get this working yet?
