For upload and download rules, could a compress before encrypt and decompress after decrypt options added. There are public compression algorythms that could be applied to compress a files before encrypting it. Once a file is encrypted it doesn't typically compress very well. This option would save on storage at the remote end and save bandwidth in route.
Of course this asumes CoreFTP will be used to download the file before using again.
