CoreFTP Explicit SSL connection - Can't transfer data

Post by ezsra »

There is a FTPES site that we need to connect to using CoreFTP. This site uses a Explicit SSL connection.

We can successfully connect and transfer files with FileZilla but not with CoreFTP LE or PRO versions. We get connected and a directory listing. We just can't transfer files. To get to this point we have to use the AUTH TLS Connection type. We have tried different combination of SSL Listing, SSL Transfer, and OpenSSL with no success.

The sever is configured with a port range for allowing these FTP-SSL connections.

We have googled around for a couple days but found no solutions. We need to use CoreFTP to allow for automating the process.

Still looking for assistance

I am still unable to get this to work.

Can some one please confirm for me that CoreFTP can do FTPES and encrypt the data transfers? And what is the trick to make it do this?

The server is Pure-FTPD. Maybe there is a problem on that end. I have opened a ticket with them as well.

We have over one hundred customers who will be purchasing the Pro version for this project. If we get this working that is a nice bit of change in Core-FTP's pocket.

A feature fix was applied to the product. Now this works.
