Date: Bizarre Problem

Post by moshepack »

Hi,

When I display the list of files in the FTP site, files more than a year old are shown with a date of 2006. (Files from July 31st, 2005 and later are listed correctly. Files earlier than July 31st show 2006 in the year even though they were uploaded in 2005.)

The month/day portion of the date are fine.

Other FTP clients ("DOS" command line ftp in WinXP, aceFTP) display the dates of all the files correctly.

Thanks!

The directory info lists the file dates correctly.
The Server Type is set to "Auto".
The log file shows the server type to be: SYST 200 VMS OpenVMS V7.3 When I explicitly set the server type to VMS v7+, it makes no difference: The file dates displayed still show the wrong year.

Here are a couple of lines from the directory info file:

TA20050717.DAT;1 21/52 18-JUL-2005 16:59:11 [RAAM,TD_RAAM] (RWED,RWED,RE,)
TA20050718.DAT;1 21/52 19-JUL-2005 08:23:04 [RAAM,TD_RAAM] (RWED,RWED,RE,)

Note that in the CoreFTP client the file dates are displayed respectively as:
07/18/2006
07/19/2006

Please let me know if I can supply you with additional information.

Thanks!

I am running version 1.3c

The home page of CoreFTP doesn't list version 2. Is 2.0 a beta version?
