My Scenario:
I have an DNS external hard drive connected via ethernet to my wireless router and I am trying to connect to it from my fathers home. I have opened up a port on my router to to do this. I loaded the coreftp client software on my fathers PC and when I tried to connect to to my external drive from his home I could not. Can anyone give me some tips on how to successfuly connect remotely?
Thanks,

Maybe I am missing something...
Thanks CP for replying. I was thinking that I could access my external drive from my fathers home using the coreftp software via the internet using the IP address for the drive since I have it connected to a router that is always on. This way he could access it and download files. For example; pictures and stuff. I guess not? Anyway, thanks for your input. Or, do you have any suggestions?
