Editing files

Whenever I goto edit my .html files, it comes up with the actual site in internet explorer. How do you get it to open up in notepad or some other file editor, so I can edit the html?

I had never tried using this capability, so thought I would get it a go. Your paper didn't seem to refer to the easiest way to set up the default extensions, and that is to check the box that says "use default windows extensions". I had put in wordpad.exe which didn't work before I saw that box, but did see later in the article that was not advised anyhow.
