Site data

Post by judyb »

I recently had a problem with my computer and in the course of trying to debug it a tech wanted me to delete Core FTP from my computer. Before doing so, I quickly copied the entire folder that Core FTP was in, hoping that I could then use it again without further ado (via restoring the registry back to a date before I deleted it).

I do have all that info, but when I start up Core, it doesn't find any of my sites. Just so I know in the future so I can back up the information needed for the sites where is that stored? If in the Core folder, why wouldn't it be finding it.

Thanks -- I'm really tired of trying to get my computer back into working order!

Thanks Chris,

I will remember that! I have it all up and cooking again. I am just so bad at remembering and/or keeping in one place the different magic names that have to be used and the passwords. I did remember that two sites I had to check the SSL box so things actually went relatively smoothly.

BTW, I really like Core FTP, particularly the way the permissions are displayed and changed. I used FTP-lite (I think that was the name of it) before and the permission method they used drove me crazy!
