I have used dreamweaver before and this is my first try using core ftp I have the free download version. Can any one tell me if I need to identify which is the home/index page like you did in dreamweaver?

I have connected to some sites that I already manage and updated some of the pages sucessfully although I see this message:

What does this this mean?:
"The system cannot find the file specified. "
Can any one give me some pointers if anything I should be aware of when setting up and managing a site. So far it seems far to easy and the the help section seems quite small. (not that I am complaining any I hate reading loads)
