Hi Forum,
I have been using core ftp for about 5 months and think its a great piece of kit. It was simple to install and use and has worked trouble free from the start.
I use it to upload images to a picture gallery in the main. Yesterday I encountered a sudden problem out of the blue. The image gallery software suddenly stopped co-operating with the uploaded images. On investigation it was a problem with the permissions. The gallery requires all folders and contents to be 777. I had not changed any settings and it was working before (assuming that it must of been 777) so I am lost as to what has suddenly changed.
I know how to check and change the permissions 'right click > properties' but I am not sure how to set coreftp to 777 prior to uploading so I don't have to change them each time like before.
If it is related or not I am not sure but in the data stream top left it has started putting up a red message saying Not a plain file
Any ideas?
thanks in advance.
Kip
