Problem after installing

Hi I can't get logged into any sites.

It's giving me the can't establish connection because an invalid arguement was supplied.

What could I do to fix this? Are my settings just messed?

Are you connecting to a site that you can normally get to? What arguments are you putting in?
Is this from a command line?
