Greetings,
I am not sure if this is a syntax error, user error, or what. Lost default.html file DL'ing to PC with no default.html, but with index.html.
This is how I recall it. I was working with Core FTP LE with my Dreamweaver/PC folder/files (on left) and web server files (on right). Along the way I changed my server dir. This directory had a default.html file in it. I tried to download it to my PC dir. However, it would not. Well, I thought it would not as it did not show in PC FTP dir. So I tried again. Then it disapeared from my web server FTP dir but did not show up in my PC FTP dir.
There was no other default.html on my PC side. Only index.html. What could have happened? Can not find file on PC and not on web server.
I have since made other dummy default.html files and downloaded them on first try every time.
I have log file and the first two instance of default.html in it looks like this:
257 "/dlg/templates/singleproducts" is your current location
RNFR /dlg/templates/singleproducts/default.html
350 RNFR accepted - file exists, ready for destination
RNTO /dlg/templates/singleproducts/rem_default.html
250 File successfully renamed or moved
CDUP
Like to know what I did wrong. It was an remote installed server file that I just installed. Done some changes and do not have access to new file unless I install again. Doh...
Peace and Blessings
