What does the SSL Listings feature do?

What does the SSL Listings feature do?

Can someone please explain what the SSL Listings is responsible for? If I do not have this box checked, but do have the AUTH TLS, SSL Transfers, and OpenSSL boxes checked, am I doing Secure transfers?

Thank you for the reply. I see the lock in the lower right hand corner of the CoreFTP screen, so I am good to go!
