Sort function

Core FTP 1.3c
Sort functions via date, filename, etc. have stopped working.
Tried uninstalling and re-installing.
Tried installing 2.0 beta.
Tried insstalling ANSI version.
No good.

It's been suggested one or more DLL files are involved.

(As a registered user) I would prefer to keep using Core if I can.

Unfortunately, I don't understand how this ties in with IE.
I'm running IE 7 - if that helps.

I'm not sure if I'm on the right track now, because Core is exhibitng the same behavior on my laptop which still has IE 6.x.

The only thing the two machines have in common (which may affect DLL files) is a util called Registry Mechanic. Could it have dinged something in the registry or elsewhere?

Deleting the Global key disabled the program (unless I read the instructions incorrectly). Imported the key and got it back up. Problem persists (toggling did not help).

Entire COREFTP key set has been sent to support.

I've tried 1.3c and 2.0 (back and forth over the last couple of days). Repeated clicking of one or another key produced intermittent results in 2.0 and nothing in 1.3c (which I just tried again a moment ago). Strange indeed.

Not double-clicking. I use this software every day.

Yes. The buttons depress properly.
Just fiddled with it again.
Locally, if I click (just once) Filename, Size, or Date. Nothing happens. If I click Date 3 or 4 times it will sort. After that, repeated clicks do nothing.

Tried the latest 2.0 build (1474) and sort functions have been restored.
