I am running the FileZilla server and using the Core client (1.3c 1447.2) on a remote sytem that I connect to with LogMeIn. So I have complete control over both ends.
Anyway, I am uploading to my server from the client. I select a directory and start the upload. There are say 14 files, each ~3-4 Mb in size. All goes well for most of them, but eventually it just hangs, reporting a tranfer rate of a few bytes/sec. Sometimes I can restart it and get the balance, sometimes not. In fact, it (the client) has crashed the sytem it is on. It is connected over DSL, my server over cable. I know the server is fine as I can connect to it from other sites and do this all day long without problems. This just happens from the system with the Core client.
Any ideas?
Uploads to my server just hang...
OK
I'll give that a try. As another data point, I have installed the client on another system with a t3 connection and the system itself is much more powerful. The transfer of the files was flawless. The system I am having trouble with is a few years old and somewhat limited. Do you think this could be having an effect? What exactly does the set sockets do?
Thanks,
Jim
