Long File Editing Session Upload Not occuring

Post by liaaam »

I regularily use coreFTP to edit files on remote servers. To perform this i use the edit option. In the general case this works fine and once I have completed my changes and exited the program used for editing coreFTP uploads the new file. However occasionaly once I have finnised editing and close the program for editing the file, coreFTP does not prompt me. At the moment my solution is to reopen the temp file, copy the whole file to the clip board and then select to edit the file again, paste from the clip board, save and exit. Then coreFTP will perform the upload as normal.

On the ocassions where it does not function as expected the status of the file transfer is listed as "Xfering" is there a way to force coreFTP to process manually ? I am assuming it missed that I was finnished with the file.

Thanks

Im using build 1447. I've changed that setting so hopefully I can avoid the problem.

Thanks

Yeah i've thought about selecting that option but because of the trouble i've had on occasions when im working on a file for a long time I would prefer to explicitly know when it has or has not been uploaded.
