newbie needs help uploading

Post by lslou »

Sorry for asking a dumb question but...

I have got my site online already but this is my first time using core.
I have somehow got the list of my files for my webpage in the main box on the right and connection seems fine but the new info I have put into my http documents (to update my site) does not upload? please help!

Okay, I am having problems here. I know that you click on index on the left box and this gives all the pages within that index on the right box.
I have no idea how I did that as I can't find the index document on the left directory but all the contents show in the right box?
hence I am clicking upload and nothing happens, I managed it with another FTP but can't seem to find the directory this time (a wizard found it on the other program).

Please help!

God, I love you. After some farting about the documents uploaded as desired the above tip cracked it.
Thanks sooo much,

You should have your local files on the left, remote (destination) site on right, then select the files to upload on the left, click the blue right arrow above the list, and they will be transferred.

If this is not what you have done, please try that, and let us know.
