User selectable port for firewall upload

Post by nationalhi »

Greetings, after checking the archives, I still have an issue with selectable port numbers. I have set the proxy port to 21 in both the global and per-site settings. Yet, when CoreFTP begin the connection, it always defaults to port 22.

What am I mising?

Thanks!

User selectable port for firewall upload [update]

I should have stated, I am using WinProxy and attemopting to connect to Linux server. All works fine when not going through the proxy, but that option is no longer viable. Winproxy is set to use either socks or transparent.

Thanks!

The log might be throwing you off... Is the port in the advanced -> proxy section of your site profile set to 1080 (or your socks port)? Also, double check that the 'use proxy' option is checked back at the main Site Manager screen (check it until it's black to use the settings in your site profile).
