upload speed problem

Recently when I've tried to upload files, it takes an extremely long time. The transfer rate varies from 0.2 to 0.7 KB/s.

What could the problem be?

It could be quite a few different things, such as:

1: Server being overloaded (too many users or CPU intensive processing)

2: Upstream bandwidth is being over utilized by your ISP

3: Poor connection.

4: Virus and/or spyware processing.
