Date/Time stamp for uploaded files

Post by needlesw »

I notice that my uploaded files are never given the timestamp of the original file. In my session log appears the following lines:

MDTM 20040120151427 family.html
550 20040120151420 No such file or directory

Similar messages appear for every file I upload. Why, and what can I do about it?

TIA,

Most servers now support MDTM as a read option (for downloading). Unfortunitely, if a server doesn't support MDTM as a write option, there is no way to preserve the time/date stamp as far as I know.
Thank you. I'll contact my web host to see if there's a switch in Apache that can be set to fix this.
