Can't connect!!

Hi,
I don't understand what is going on but when I try to connect 'core ftp pro" it displays a message - "can't establish connection" that's all it says, no matter how many times I try to connect it will not let me.

This could be one of many issues, but the two most common are:

1: Your server is down

2: Firewall issues won't let you connect to your server.
