0 bytes transfered

Post by auji »

Hello
When I upload .jpg files it defaults to an ASCII upload which results in 0 bytes transfered. There is no .jpg listed in the filter. Can someone tell me why it is ftping in ASCII mode? What can cause this? Thank you.

It is usually caused by some sort of transfer error. It could be that your disk quota has been used up or that the transfer failed for one reason or another (firewall problem, lost connection, permission errors, etc). If you look at your log (or copy it up here) it will tell exactly what happened.

Thank you Jeffd for opening my eyes. The log says "Transfer aborted, disk quota exceeded". I had no idea. I'll try optimizing and reducing the size of these graphic files before I upload them.
