Command line sftp crashing

Post by steve_m »

Hi,

I'm using pro version 1.3 build 1334 to transfer a file to an sftp server using SSH version 2. My command line looks like:

"c:\program files\coreftp\coreftp.exe" -log c:\ftplog.txt -ssl -u c:\test1.txt sftp://userid:password@a.b.c.d

What happens is the splash screen appears for a few seconds then it disappears and nothing happens. The coreftp process is still running at 0% CPU utilisation. System is Windows 2000 server SP3 on a Compaq DL380 G2. The ftp log file is created but empty.

I've tested the same transfer using the full GUI product and it works perfectly.

Does the command line option work without registering the product ? If so, any ideas what's happening ?

Thanks, Steve
