I'm very green at FTP so I am no doubt overlooking the obvious.
I sent an index.html page up with just a little information on it to see if I could do it. It's fine, but I can't edit that page to add information.
When I bring it down to edit I am seeing the finished product, not my HTML page as in Notepad so that I may add information.

Unable to edit - CoreFTP Lite 1.3
Thank you CP, I took a look in there and saw that both .html and .xml were missing so I added them in and made sure they had notebook.exe as their editor.
I gave it a test run by adding a construction gif to the index.html page and it worked like a dream although I will confess it went so fast I'm not 100% sure how I returned the file to the website. But hey, It's working and I'm beginning to feel you have a winner here. I'll come back in a week and let you know how I'm doing, have to learn CSS now.
