Heard lots of good things (but some bad too) Ezula malware

I have been encouraged to use core FTP and I really like the looks of it but I did a little investigation and found some claims that it installed the Ezula Lookup malware. I want to know if that is true or not. Has anyone here had Ezula appear on their machine after downloading Core FTP? Does anyone from the company what to state that it doesn't? I really want to use Core because I am tired of how long Leech takes so fill me in.

I heard about the Ezula thing on download.com. Someone who downloaded it claimed that Ezula iLookup came with it. I figured he got it somewhere else at the same time and thought it was core. Thanks for the info.
