Connection problems

Post by porpoise »

Great software very very useful but how do I maintain a connection. I may upload 10 or so images at a sitting all images or filesl upload properly and efficiently, but if I leave my pc for a few minutes then return to upload more files the connetcion has gone, I try to re connect or disconnect then re connect but nothing, invariably I have to close the programme down re open it and start again. Is there a way of keeping the connection so I do not have to go through this niggling problem. Help appreciated.

I'm still getting familiar with the tool, but it looks like the "Keep Alive" option might be what you need. In the UI, click on "View", then "Options". Choose "Connections" from the list on the left side. In the Connection settings, look on the right side for the "Keep Alive" option. If you check the box to turn this on, it will send a signal to the remote server at a regular interval so that the connection stays open.
