Is it possible to do copy paste on the remote server?
Here are more details of what i mean by "copy paste"
1. I need copy the entire site to a "backup directory" before doing any update
2. the site is quite larger about 200mb, so download to my pc then upload again to a "backup directory" is not an efficient way to do it.
3. So the best way to do this is to copy the entire website files into a directory call "old website" then upload the new/update files to replace the current site.
Can core ftp to this? I have tried coreftp copy then paste to other directory but it does not actually do "copy paste" what it actually do is move the files from one directory to another.
Can anyone give me advise of how to do this "copy and paste"?
