Access Rules Per User

Hi All

Wonder if anyone can shed some light on a problem I've been having.

I would like to set up access rule on a per user bases. I see the option under the security tab when setting up a user, but no matter what I put in there they don't work.

I'm able to set them at a global level which is fine for people with Fixed IP Addresses, but every now and then I'm going to get a user with a dynamic external address and not be able to let him in without opening up the server to all users

Any help would be much appreciated
