SP2 problem?!!

I installed the core ftp

I am on Windows XP sp2, ... but core ftp crashes suddenly and reboots the pc. I have switched off the mute button, but it made no effect.

Now I downloaded version 1.2 just to see if 1.3a bugs etc...

Has any one else faced this problem ?? SP2 is craching too many
softwares of mine. ( know issue with sp2)

Yes , I will rescan my PC for any malicious activity . Had just scanned
it with mcafee with (updated) engine, in the morning, and also with spysweeper.

I think it has some driver or sp2 problem. I have all the latest updates
installed as, i just fresh installed Xp, 2days back.
