Suddenly can't edit/view files - file associations not worki

All of a sudden, I cannot edit or view remote or local files using the client. I use Core Lite.

Rather than opening my editor (textpad), I get the popup asking me to overwrite or skip, etc. -- as though I have already edited and want to upload the new file.

I went into the file extension menu and tried to re-associate the file extensions with textpad.exe, but it's not working. I even tried to associate with notepad.exe, because that was working yesterday, but nothing works now.

Should I trash this ftp application and download it again? Or, is there something else to do about it?
