Absolutely Lost!!

I am totally inexperienced with this. I am using kompozer and pro core, my host is hostgator. I am not understanding how to get my website up. I am using your program because it was recommended. Do I use it to get my site up. And if the answer is yes, how? How do I connect the html folder from kompozer to you and then to my host? Any help would be most appreciated. I am trying to start off properly with this and am willing to learn what I have to instead of resorting to a siteuilder. Thanks.
