Thanks CP but afraid I am non the wiser. What is the Ansi version and where would I find it ? I have also used an Ipswitch FTP thingee but that caused exactly the same problem ....?

Afraid I am having big trouble uploading an updated page on my website. When I try to transfer the updated page (a document created in Front Page with a .HTM extension) all that happens is that the transfer doesn't complete but the destination file is wiped clear.
