Core FTP

The file that had it's file transfer failed is no longer on the file transfer box, it simply says "No Transfers..."

Is there a common location whom temporary files are stored that I can find?

I saved my testing.php file on Core FTP, and then it said "Transfer Failed" I closed Core FTP, then I reoopened it, reconnected, and then opened testing.php. Now, what I saw after that on testing.php was not the same, OVER 1,000 LINES OF ADVANCED PHP AND MYSQL CODES AND FUNCTIONS LOST. HOU...
