A *Nix O/S sets a special file attribute indicating that it is a symbolic link. When viewing the directory from a shell or FTP, the filename appears to be the same as the file it is linked to. I'm just beginning to use coreFTP after using WS_FTP for years. My servers are all Unix/Linux based and I have many sybolic links. In WS FTP, they were indicated in the directory listing as being a sym link and when I downloaded or uploaded the sym link it would operate on the 'real' file or directo...
