Just to amend my post from Oct.15 (2008, that is)

Contrary to what I said, I noticed that CoreFTP does crash when you drag many files from right (remote) pane to left (local), where many is several hundreds of files.

Hoping this will help the developers fix the problem ....

Hello- I have the same problem as HarryD. I tried installing the ANSI version as you suggested but the problem remains; this is now with Core FTP LE 2.1 build 1576 on Windows XP SP2.
